1. Calculate the amount of rubber mix and the actual formula based on the capacity of the mixing chamber and the appropriate filling coefficient (0.6-0.7);
2. According to the actual formula, accurately weigh the amount of various raw materials in the formula, and place the raw rubber, small materials (ZnO, SA, accelerators, anti-aging agents, solid softeners, etc.), reinforcing agents or fillers, liquid softeners, and sulfur in order on the shelf;
3. Turn on the power switch and heating switch of the mixer, preheat the mixer, and check whether the air pressure, water pressure, and voltage meet the process requirements. Also, check whether the temperature measurement system, timing device, and power system indicate and record normally;
4. After preheating the internal mixer, stabilize for a period of time and prepare for rubber mixing;
5. Lift up the top plug, put the raw rubber that has been cut into small pieces into the mixing machine from the feeding port, drop the top plug, and mix the rubber for 1 minute;
6. Lift up the top bolt, add small ingredients, drop the top bolt and mix for 1.5 minutes;
7. Lift up the top plug, add carbon black or filler, drop the top plug and mix for 3 minutes;
8. Lift the top plug, add liquid softener, drop the top plug and mix for 1.5 minutes;
9. Rubber dispensing, using a thermocouple thermometer to measure the temperature of the rubber material, recording the initial temperature of the mixing chamber, the temperature of the mixing chamber and the rubber dispensing temperature at the end of mixing, maximum power, and rotor speed;
10. Adjust the roller spacing of the open mill to 3.8mm, turn on the power switch to operate the open mill, open the circulating water valve, and then feed the rubber material discharged from the internal mixer onto the upper roller of the open mill. When the temperature of the rubber material drops below 110 ℃, add sulfur and cut the left and right knives twice each. Wait until all the sulfur is consumed and the surface of the rubber material is relatively smooth, then cut off the rubber material.
11. Adjust the roller spacing of the open mill to 0.5mm, add a thin layer of rubber material, apply a triangular bag for 5 passes, adjust the roller spacing to around 2.4mm, add the rubber material wrapped roller, wait for the surface to be smooth and free of bubbles, remove the sheet, weigh the total mass of the rubber material, cool it to room temperature on a flat and clean metal surface, label it with the rubber formula number and mixing date, and park it for later use.
